“SAY-Ta”

Ever since I could first read and write, I have always had a deep love for creating. My passion for design began to blossom when I was around 9 years old, during which I found myself drawing anime warriors and forming elaborate fantasy adventures with my friends. As I grew, I took the next step in my creative journey by exploring machinimas, experimenting with Warcraft 3’s Editor and crafting Halo 2 cinematics using modified Xbox consoles.

I started freelancing in photography and videography, covering local church events, weddings, social gatherings, and engagements. This initial experience significantly developed my understanding of camera techniques and lighting setups, while also providing me with opportunities to work collaboratively with a team and manage my clientele effectively.

Next, I joined Legend 3D as a Stereo Compositor without formal training, working with talented artists on major projects and learning industry-leading software like Nuke.

This experience prompted my deep love for editing, which ultimately inspired me to return to school and further my education in the field. I attended Platt College, where I dedicated myself to my studies and successfully graduated with Honors, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Visual Effects & Compositing.

After graduating from university, I decided to move to Silicon Valley, CA, to join MachineZone’s marketing team. In this role, I created engaging videos in over 30 languages for various games and clients, which was both challenging and rewarding. Following this adventure, my next journey took me to Nexon Mobile, where I proudly became their first internal video designer. In this position, I was responsible for producing dynamic content for user acquisition, social media, B2B initiatives, internal presentations, and trailers, while also collaborating with well-known IPs such as Marvel and Titanfall.

After Nexon Mobile’s office closed, I returned to MZ as a Motion Designer, working on new projects and learning 3D. MZ was later acquired by AppLovin, a major tech company in Silicon Valley, where I quickly became a Senior Designer and Design Manager. At AppLovin, I led a team of designers to create ads, including videos, graphics, and playables, for clients like Airbnb, Uber, Final Fantasy, Marvel, Harry Potter, Wheel of Fortune, and Monopoly.

In the summer of 2024, I made the significant decision to leave my job at AppLovin to take some much-needed personal time off, something I have not allowed myself to do since moving out to California 14 years ago. During this break, I traveled extensively around Europe and Asia for a few enriching months, immersing myself in diverse new cultures and challenging myself in various meaningful ways. In 2025, I have decided to move closer to my family in Austin, Texas, and I am now eagerly awaiting the opportunity for a new adventure here in this vibrant city.
